Having just gotten back from the TAG conference in Houston, TX, I find myself reflective of what I learned over the last four days. Our team from CloudJumper went to TAG to connect with a great group of well healed MSPs/telco companies and more to discover where they see their business going in the cloud.
Last year, the majority of the questions we fielded asked us, what exactly do you do, and why is it of value to my company? This year, we found a much higher level of understanding of the technology and its value to the end user. The conversation shifted from initial product intrigue to discussing current live opportunities. This allowed us to focus our conference sessions on two new tools we created to help our partners better deploy and manage their cloud customers. Both got very good reviews at TAG.
Our portal, my.CloudJumper, is our single-pane-of-glass connector to CloudJumper. During the convention, we gave partners and prospects alike further training on how they can use the portal to manage the customer life-cycle, from quoting and provisioning to customer monitoring to ticket management and invoice review. It is our first-line of communications with our partners, and it is our partners’ window into their customers.
We also took the time, while at the annual TAG convention, to give partners a sneak peek at our latest migration tool, JumpStart, our ground-to-cloud automated provisioning solution. CloudJumper is a pioneer of Workspace as a Service (WaaS): we have been developing this solution since the first days of the new millennium, and we know that we have built the industry-leading solution.
From this jumping off point, we aren’t stopping! In June, we will hit the market with JumpStart. Using this web based app, our partners will have an automated process to manage the necessary discovery when bringing a new end user to the cloud. Using a simple executable file, the app will survey the end customer’s computers, mirror them and report on the findings, and then complete the provisioning, all without the partner giving up control over the migration.
Thanks to the folks at TAG National for holding another great conference. You are great at combining good business and a lot of fun.
